Tach,

ich hab da so nen Problem mit /proc/stat.

Ich will die derzeitige CPU Last ermittel ich habe mir auch schon gkrellm angeschaut nur werde ich da nicht so ganz schlau draus.

In Proc stat steht ja z.B. folgendes.

cpu 12689461 16614381 10418010 777360374
cpu0 6292673 8307643 5158626 388782171
cpu1 6396788 8306738 5259384 388578203
page 738128955 208572696

........


Wie ermittle ich jetzt daraus die Last ?

Ich weiss wass es ist, nähmlich
cpu total_user total_nice total_sys total_idle
cpu0 cpu0_user cpu0_nice cpu0_sys cpu0_idle

Aber wie werte ich das aus? Und was sind jiffies ?????????

Ich schätze du addierst einfach die Werte, dann hast du 100%.
Welcher Wert dann wieviel Prozent ist, dürfte danach ja kein Problem mehr sein.

"jiffies" sind auch als "clock ticks" bekannt.
